We almost got realistic consequences for her drinking problem (what problem? There's no problem with alcoholism besides liver damage! Nothing at all goes wrong for alcoholics, ever!). But it has started a drink-less, talk to Izumi sober arc. Drinking is both the thing getting Reina and Ishizumi close, and the thing keeping them apart. No sobriety, no love.

Low-Carb only has a couple of fewer calories than regular beer per can.
That's because Carbohydrates aren't as caloric dense as alcohol.
1 gram of alcohol has 7 calories, 1 gram of carbs has 4.

Some brands of Low-Carb beer have both: Less carbs and less alcohol content, making the beer significantly less caloric but also weaker. Because the beer is weaker, people drink more to get drunk, negating the effect of the reduced calories in the first place.

I like beer because I find it refreshing and delicious. I don't drink it to get drunk. If you're also like that and you want to watch out for your calories, my tip is to do it like the Germans.

My father was an alcoholic.
He would drink whenever he was stressed or anxious, which was often - his extremely macho attitude rubbed people the wrong way, making it hard for him to interact with people.

By the time he was fifty, he was severely overweight, and his liver was struggling. He developed Type 2 diabetes and spent the last 20 years of his life in pain.
