"I respect your father very much, he was my mentor and I truly looked up to him."
"I want to buy your company and the first order of business is to erase your father's legacy from the company's name."
IDK why, but this part made me go from dismissive to angry towards her offer - she kept on saying how much reina's father meant to her and how important of a figure he was in her professional life along with how much gratitude she holds for him that she could never truly repay, only to immediately turn around and declare that the first thing she'll do were she to be entrusted with his life's work would be to erase his name from it. She even has the gall to claim despite it that "your father's legacy will be safeguarded" - yeah right. "Witch" is very much appropriate for her.

Probabaly the best chapter so far, it doesn't just use whining and fan service goon bait to keep you entertained, clearly author san has some skill, so use that more!

Too bad Reina never bothered to watch a YouTube video on wine etiquette.

pg 11: Thats a horrible way to treat someone that steps for you.
Also, the other president was straight disrespectful, they could just act insulted and get out.

So uere is the reply she should have given : "Thank you for your kind offer. I do agree that our companies would be stronger together. Though, considering ours is known for delivering a quality yours can not match, I do think we should be buying yours, so we can bring your operations up to our standards"
That seems… a little unnecessarily rude, don’t you think? Why cause pointless friction between the two companies when they’ve already stated multiple times that they’re allies, and they were so easily able to de-escalate the situation?

To show some backbone, that you won't be intimidated and you understand and are in control of your business. The offer was an attempt to pull a fast one on a wet behind the ears kid that she did not respect.

My reply shows that she knows the score, knows the history between the companies, and knows how good her company is. It shows that she should be treated at the very least an equal and will not bow down simply because an older ceo tells her to.

But so did the answer she gave in the chapter. What she said accomplishes exactly the same thing your response would’ve accomplished except it doesn’t piss off the boss of their allied company, and yours probably would.

Like sure, yours might’ve shown backbone, but what’s the point of that if all it ends up doing is ruining your relationship with a company yours works well together with?

We will have to agree to disagree then.
