I cant help but think that Joseph has an ulterior motive and is behaving that way to get her to lower her guard. Think about it, he is obviously a competent man who can outwit the morphs but despite that, he hasn’t tried to change Shadows House for over 50 years.

My though exactly. The face reveal make him seem so soft and I really want to trust him. But in the back of my mind, I have to much doubt.
