Milia has already encoraged him to build a harem and he still spends half the chapter thinking he's cheating. well, that's cultural difference for you. Still hope we get plenty of Milia action though. Harem comps can sometimes get unbalanced as it tries to go betwween multiple girls, and/or is influenced by readership preferences.

TBH the line can be razor thin. The only real qualification for published manga is where it's published and how it classifies itself.

For doujins/twitter comics it's all at the discretion of whoever tags it on that site. I can see some sites calling it pornography if they don't care about the publishing quirk.

A vampire is definitely an odd choice for a monster girl manga.

It's semi-common in most other monster girl manga. Which brings up a pet peeve of mine on "monster girl" tagged manga thats just elf/succubus (though I love succubus)/kemonomimi style characters who aren't really that different from humans outside of minor body part changes and a different culture. That said, the manga did show a lot of those types already in ch. 4 so it's not really surprising rn.

It definitely wouldn't be a choice in Monster Musume since it does seem to try and really make sure demi-humans have significantly different bodies and mannerisms. But I do appreciate that this manga seems to straddle the middle and still give a bunch of behavioral differences even to a species otherwise very similar to a human. Kinda reminds me of Interviews with Monster Girls (but you know, with an older cast)

Also it's weird, you'd think in a world where a bunch of women have to share one man, the women would meet up with each other first and make sure they get along before agreeing to something like this. If they're gonna be around the person you love a lot, you're gonna wanna make sure you won't hate each other and fight a bunch, right?

I guess it depends on the setting, culture, and group opinions. Arata decided to move in with Milia ASAP but I can see setups in polyamorous relationships where everyone lives separately and goes at their own schedule. They may never have to meet the other lovers if they don't like certain ones.

In this case, Hotaru probably has campus living so there's not as much reason for her to move in.

Many things in ecchi/hentai manga no longer surprise me, but I still don't get the obsession with strong-smelling dicks, especially in a culture that loves cleanliness. Even if she's a demi-human and is expecting such a thing, you'd think that'd be a polite thing to disclose to your potential partner - even more so, for a vampire who was supposedly already living on earth and therefore likely has human expectations.
