Wait if the bodies are alive, but all that happened was that their souls got taken?
Couldn't a shaman just bring them back to life by putting their souls back on their still alive bodies? hell you don't even need any special shaman, just someone being able to do possession will do, it's literary the ghost entering back their still alive bodies.

It makes no sense to me other than they guy clearly lying about it. However i don't see the point of making up such a bad lie, even less when they are dealing with a family that deals in the same trade.

@Necrostafe looks like it, it even has the glasses and all, wonder if it also comes with the same broken powers of controlling reality itself.
