Page 13 shows us a real dilemma, what exactly is going on here? is this guy really strong or is Alumi that weak?

Also we know that the old generation is still around and doing fine, and i still see no real excuse to have the kids dealing with this mess, or having the old guys retire, hell Jeane getting killed still feels cheap.

@Doomroar more like Allumi has garbage furyoku and can't keep a decent Over Soul for too long (and using seven OS at the same time doesn't help)

@Tarlo yeah the buildup to the FOM has been super slow. We're two volumes in and it feels like nothing has happened, especially compared to red crimson or the prior shaman king flowers (which is still part of the buildup to FOM). and the original shaman king's buildup to the shaman fight was a good couple of arcs that expanded the world and introduced memorable characters. I don't really care about any of these kids yet and we aren't learning anything new yet. and doomroar is right why are they sending kids to do all this in the first place? I guess we'll see where this all goes.

@Doomroar well she did go up against the cheapest character in the entire series. that magic triangle guy can do literally anything yosuke wants him to. insert dollar receive win-card. he's a golem built by the previous shaman king after all. basically if he shows up, protagonists lose, or they dont get to the goal they wanted. idk what they're even supposed to do about him. didn't he and yosuke wipe out the entire patch tribe? they're gonna have to fight them in the FOM too whenever that happens.

@Tarlo So is just low furyoku, well in that case it is nothing that killing her and bringing her back to life a couple of times wont solve, but why then make her look like she could actually do something if she can't even maintain her OS? she has a bunch of cool toys she can't use. Why even bother giving her crappy furyoku on the first place? it seems to me like that's just an excuse to put her in her place as Hana's mate and sideline her in the oncoming and completely unnecessary tournament.

@Bufochazzwozza Wait i was under the impression that Yusuke was just a puppet and the one calling the shots was the triangle guy? regardless of that, since his strongest and most expensive card is supposed to be that obelisk card, couldn't Yoh or any of the 5 guys alone take him out? of course assuming they find a way to deal with the time travelling, and the mind control, and the mind read... what a bullshit character, why the hell does it sound stronger that the damn Great Spirit itself?

@Doomroar I think they work as a team, Yabisu being like Yosuke's guardian ghost. they talk to each other in flowers a bit and it does seem like the triangle is in charge at least, though not outright puppeteering him as far as I remember. I think they're working for the previous shaman king fura yabisu, since he's shown holding an eye pyramid scepter. I bet you the great spirit could somehow negate all of this in a straight-on fight, but pre GS hao would probably lose to him in an instant. Unless there's some limitation to this power we're not aware of yet.
