The reliance on the luck stat is just the writers laziness. They can hand wave a lot of stuff happening to the character as "luck" instead of putting in any work. And it is just a copy of a lot of other game oriented comics. So far it's still decent. Let's hope it continues.

Anime version of the boss was more badass.
Levels doesn't matter to Sunraku.
Emul is cute either way
