@sanswitch1 honestly i think its because they want to let people know they are gonna be doing the manga. If they start doing chapters they already posted, people that have already read all of them and are caught up are gonna have to wait a good 4-5 months if they are gonna be constantly pumping out chapters just to catch up
Though there is a 3 chapter gap from last posted and newest chapter so im not sure

In the anime:
IRL, the MC is a teenage girl.
But she loves and dreamt of becoming a grandpa with dignity and honor, so she became a "Wise Man" in the game and loves her role playing.
Then, while she tried something of a limited edition package that you can use to change your appearance. She modified her dignified grandpa to a cute girl.
Then... She was transferred to the game, unknowingly.
So, now—She lives in her real biological self in this new world, while regretting what she has done by modifying her appearance, but since she's in the game-like world, she still moves and acts like a grandpa—or more likely, a tomboy, because of her unladylike behaviour.

So, the genderswap here is: "I created my dream of a dignified grandpa character, but as I used a limited timed item to change my appearance, I'm now stuck as a loli" lol
