I agree, don't marines have harsh training similar works of the navy as in dealing with water to?

Thanks for the chapter!
Seems like MC and prince really falling for each other. Fendai is really acting like a spoiled child, likely due to watching and being jealous of Chenyu and Shenshi thus learning the wrong way to act. Especially on getting money didn't earn and being greedy. At least her mother has some intelligence but seems Fendai inherited her personality, selfishness and arrogance from her father. Reason Fendai is telling her mother to get more is that the daughters' dowries and spending money are mostly dependent on the money their mothers save up and earn from their business rather than provided by the clan, especially due to grandma's and Shenshi's greed and unwillingness to dole out what they consider their money. Since Fendai's mother was a prostitute before marrying Feng she doesn't have any businesses to earn money from and can only save some of the money provided from the clan for paying servants, food, clothes, etc. Also, big problem with relationship between mother and daughter is that Fendai has a higher position and authority in the clan being a daughter of the head so can tell her mother what to do despite being a little kid. Mother being a fourth wife has less authority and while can instruct and chastise Fendai she can't force her to obey or listen to reason. Basically seems to be one of those foolish traditions based on prejudice and emotion rather than logic or common sense determining ability and best fit. Then again this could possibly be done to deliberately make it easier to put someone young and inexperienced in control so it's easier to manipulate and trick them into making bad choices as opposed to someone older, wiser and more experienced. Like making a four or five year old boy the head of the family only because he's the only male left in family after previous head died even if wives or daughters were discreetly running everything while the previous head took all the credit as a figurehead.
