@MistahMoose It was a duel. In a duel both sides agree to the common rules, which can include death, unless otherwise stated (like first blood). It has got nothing to do with murder, unless it was a dirty duel. Only nearing the modern age, they became illegal in most developed countries, yet didn't disappear anywhere still for the longest of time. The 19th century was still full of duels, albeit not necessarily to the death. Hard to say which is more fair: A duel where a skilled scumbag could beat the good man or the courtroom where the rich always trample the poor.
@Kaarme it wasnt about that when i read it, it was more this like innocent youngster having literally zero reaction to presumably the first time hes taken a human life; i get that people die in duels its just the writer completely ignoring what one would normally consider a big moment in character development
So shrugged off as in.. not even mentioning he just killed a dude
lazy writing, lazy art, and his mother getting some is bullying? Sure. Makes as much sense as anything else in this comic
