This manga is really promising , it's like a crossover between Sorry but I'm not into yuri / Groundhog day / french revolution

I love it

Huh, so the FMC doesn't have any empathy? Like she does not understand why people (i.e., other women) do not like her for her past actions. I dunno, it seems like her coming to some understanding might undermine what comedy there is in the premise. Well, one chapter down, two more to go before deciding.

Thank you for notifying me!
I... legitimately don't know how I read that as 腹減った... They're not even similar in the slightest... What the hell this is embarrassing...
You're welcome buddy~
And don't be embarrassed you're doing a real solid job and seem to genuinly care about what you're doing which is sadly becoming quite rare...

Btw, happy new year mate~ 🥳 🎉 :salute:

Isn't the guillotine supposed to be painless
Can't imagine why it would be. I'm pretty sure the nerves for your neck come out just below the skull, so you'd be able to feel it at least until you lost consciousness. Plus you'd feel your head falling into the bucket, which can't be pleasant.

no but like the blade is too fast for you to feel anything and as soon as the spinal cord is cut you die on the spot , that's in the design at least

Except in extreme cases (being squished absolutely flat, for instance), death is a process. It takes time for the various bits of your body to stop functioning.

You don't die the moment your spinal cord is cut. You're fully conscious until the oxygen in your brain gets too low. Maybe 15-30 seconds I'd guess, based on how long it takes a sleeper hold to put a person out. Either way, it's long enough to feel the pain from the cut and feel your head fall into the bucket.

I think the design was intended to be less painful than doing it with a sword , because you need multiple chops with that, and that's painful, but besides that there are numerous records of people losing their hands or legs and not feeling it straight away , some even might still have the impression that they still feel their lost limbs a dozen of seconds later because they haven't realised it yet , so maybe with the guillotine it's the same principle , you might feel it , but not necessarily feel pain

That's a good point about the cut. I still say that it'd hurt to have your head fall into a bucket, though.
