I did think the twist was going to be that Shion would keep his memories too, but honestly I thought it was going to go the other way around. Not really sure why I thought that, considering the title is about villainesses getting a perfect happy do-over life. But still, Karen too? I guess time travel is just a bargain bin sale? Might as well have redo'd everybody in the whole world

Also not sure how Karen thought being fake nice to Viola was going to work after giving her a death glare at the ball. Or why she waited so long to approach Viola again, or how she thought she was going to pull off the same confidence scam with a fraction of the time. Not even sure what her plan was the first time around, did she think Viola was not going to get angry after hearing that? Just hand her fiance over to her friend who is supposedly telling her he likes her to try and protect her?

And speaking of the ball, what even was the point of Cedric and his fiance who became Viola's "newly made 'friend'"? I didn't get the part about her dress either, isn't every dress made by somebody's hand in a pattern different than others? Was the design she chose really that different? Why did it attract so much attention amongst nobles who ostensibly also commission custom clothing all the time? What even was the point of the whole thing? Was it supposed to show other people were jealous of her? That they liked her? Was it a plan to lure out Karen? I just don't get it, it's like Chekhov's bow and arrow, you see it on the wall next to the gun but it's never used because why would you when you have a gun?

Here's hoping all the other stories are atleast near this level, but let's be realistic. Just like in the villainess anthology, there are bound to be some misses.
Come to think of it, there most likely will be a villainess story or two in this!

The twist in this one kinda went the way I thought the latest chapter in the other villainess anthology would have gone - that the guy actually also remembers and he’s also trying to improve upon his mistakes. This story makes me think I should have been more phlegmatic when my ex-wife poisoned me to death and I rewound time to before we dated. If I hadn‘t been so harsh when we met again for the first time, maybe things would have turned out differently.

Tbh, I think it was the hoe that was the actual cause, because she was aiming for "the full set" (and MC killed her last target). But she'll have to try again, because (probably thanks to the boy and grandma) there was another kink in this particular timeline that created a happy ending for the dearly beloved.
