@Siikalahna at least he isn't so stupid that he forgot to warn people of the impending attack (either directly by talking about his past future, or indirectly by claiming he overheard something or other such bullshit), so they could get reinforcements from surroundings, prepare traps, fortifications and readiness, including night-time lookouts and scouts. And of course avoid alcohol so they are in tip-top shape the day of the attack.

@Siikalahna is no that easy, at least put you in his shoes, if you sense that horrible strength, a force that you don't know if you are capable of take down you will go and face it? plus that guy can conseal so well so you probably will be fucked up in no time if you go because you can sense him but not you can't say where is he at 100%, also there is a the difference on power, he make even stronger his invicibility as you see in the end.
