considering he killed Felix he technically has the right to claim the throne.
And I'm pretty sure he knows it, so it's not impossible.

The question is if he is going to abandon his childhood friend to do it.
This doesn't have a harem tag after all...

For people who are confused, let's say Joe Biden arranged an attack to Dubai so he can get a mansion there or some shit. While he's officially won the election and going to be the next president, he's yet to be one, however since he is the next president, such action will put a dent into Arab x US diplomacy and the citizen of UAE would definitely not forgive that attack and will start anti US campaign.

To put that into this world perspective, even if both side knows the truth, the citizens don't, territory invasion is such a big deal especially if it's done by someone important even with personal and not national motive.

That being said the story is indeed all over the place with at least 2 retcons happened, guess the author is the type who write first connect later.

that logic is flawed. Most if not all the poor and sick will die in a war. It is the lack of mass murder that causes population to grow, but I'm sure food production and jobs don't grow fast enough to accommodate.

Yep, yet another commentary on Japan's war prohibition policy that comes from occupation.

1. I doubt that anyone in the human kingdom besides the very, very top have an idea of what's going on inside of the demon kingdom.
2. No one in the village besides MC and Tina even know the attacker's name and he went in alone with only beasts as support.
3. Not a single person died, only two were injured and nothing in the village was destroyed.
4. Both kings want peace, both knew Felix was trying to start a war, Felix was the sole culprit of the attack and also the only death from both sides.

How does this impact the two kingdom's relationship in any way other than a positive one? The only thing I can see happening is some smaller demon kingdom faction either assassinating the demon king in his weakened state, or cause strife between the two kingdoms from the dark in an attempt to force a war.

[ol][li]The public know a demon tried to wipe a village. They don't know that Felix was a fringe party that went against the Demon government as a whole.[/li][li]Nobody knows Felix identity but everyone knows a Demon brought monsters to wipe out a defensless village.[/li][li]Because no one died in an attempted bombing doesn't make the people fear less the people they believe to be associated (albeit erroneously) with the bombing[/li][li]Both Kings want peace, but the public doesn't know that and the human public knows that a Demon came to attack them with no just cause out of the blue.[/li][/ol]
As you said nobody in the public knows the whole story and transmitting information during low tech era is a huge struggle but almost getting a settlement wiped out was a spectacle that put incomplete information in the head of everyone an incomplete version that could discredit or put a strain to a purely word based information (people believes actions way easier than words, and unfortunately as such aggression is easier to prove than peaceful intent).
