On one hand, that's theoretically terrible. On the other hand, if good people weren't so squeamish about standing up to and killing evil people, we wouldn't have Dictators and shit. The problem isn't that the evil outnumber the good, the problem is that most people are self-interested cowards who aren't either evil or good, but will balk and cower if called upon to risk their lives to fight evil, because they'd rather just let evil continue rather than fight it and risk dying themselves.

They know that if the non-evil rose up, the evil would be extinguished, but they want some other guy or gal to take the risk, while they reap the benefits of that risk. Although to be fair, that kind of cowardice was selected for by nature, as the heroic types of people tend to die before they can breed, or even put their young families at risk for reprisal if they fail (or even succeed) so being a hero isn't great for successful reproduction / natural selection.

Edit: Anyway, I think this girl did the right thing.
