from what the world has an actual corrective force. making people fall for someone because they are the main character.
and so the story must end, as to not let the story continue and do shenanigans like fixing everyones test scores.

the girls also discovers this and thus made to love him. and the story is supposedly ended. but you`ll never know. so they want to kill the scumbag protag. that no one is gonna miss.

some where along the line. the girls discovers that mc has been backing them up in order for them to not die.
so they're just not taking any chances, which is fair but at the same time if it worked it means they were already free so he shouldn't have had to die

I'll share Summary Light Novel Volume 2 here, WARNING : Please Don't Click if you Hate Spoiler.

Point: Two years after LoD ended, Satoshi's living the college life with the four heroines, Satsuki, Reine, Shuna, and Shino, now officially his girlfriends. Things get shaken up when he gets a mysterious message from someone claiming to be the "5th Heroine."

That woman, Harusora Hibise, slowly gets closer to Satoshi and drags him to places that all turn out connected to LoD's past. Suspicious, the four heroines secretly tail him. They find no proof of cheating, but realize Hibise's connection to LoD runs way deeper than expected.

Hibise turns out to be the only one who remembers the entire cycle of the world's fate. She's been by Satoshi's side since the start, watching his losing battle keep getting forgotten, all the way to his sacrifice for the heroines. But Satoshi's lost every memory of her.

Even loving him more than anyone, Hibise has to accept her feelings aren't returned. Still, she won't give up. Meanwhile, the four heroines start sensing the threat she might pose, and the risk their own dark secret could get exposed.

Character:

MC: Iriya Satoshi

Heroine1: Saionji Satsuki (Pink)

Heroine2: Kitagawa Reine (Silver)

Heroine3: Nanjou Shuna (Brown)

Heroine4: Shinonome Shino (Black)

Heroine5: Harusora Hibise (Yellow)

Other: Original Protag: Sano Yuuto

Note: Game LOD (Love or Death)

★ After class, Satoshi checks a message from Satsuki waiting for him at home. Walking out of campus, he gets hugged by Shino, then Reine and Shuna, and they all head home together.

★ It's been two years since LoD ended, now in their third year of college. On the train ride home, Satoshi zones out, noticing a blonde girl staring at him. Then his phone buzzes with a message that catches him off guard: "Nice to meet you, I'm LoD's 5th Heroine."

★ Since college started, Satoshi's lived with all four girls. Today it's Satsuki's turn to cook, so she sends him grocery shopping. Reine, Shuna, and Shino all want to tag along, but Satsuki shuts it down by showing them a video, footage of the last time Satoshi went out with the three of them and got trapped in a hotel room, completely toyed with.

★ Satsuki herself got stuck with cooking duty as punishment for secretly sneaking off on a date with him earlier. This time she even asks him to buy as much contraception as possible. Embarrassed, he suggests ordering online instead, but the girls just smile, assuming he's ready to be a dad if they skip protection. He gives up and goes shopping alone.

★ On the way home it starts raining, and a blonde girl approaches him mid downpour. He tries keeping his distance, worried his girlfriends might kill him for being close with another girl, but she won't leave. One question from her catches his interest, she introduces herself as Harusora Hibise, LoD's 5th Heroine, wanting to ask about Sano Yuuto, LoD's protagonist.

★ Once home, the four heroines immediately smell another woman on him and assume he's cheated. Reine thinks he's bored of her, Satsuki even plans to kill the woman, then him, then herself if it's true. To confirm it, all four secretly plan to tail him one by one.

Reine POV

★ Reine tails Satoshi after catching another woman's scent on him. He'd turned down her bookstore date today for "other plans." Following him into a cafe, she watches the blonde girl approach him, calling him by his first name, him calling her "Hibise" back, since he feels dumb being formal with a self proclaimed stalker.

★ Hibise's a "stalker" because she got his number by asking campus professors, since Satoshi has zero friends, thanks to having four girlfriends, girls avoid him, guys avoid him out of jealousy.

★ They head to a building that turns out to be an idol handshake event, so Reine learns he's into idols. Finding no cheating evidence, she instead gets jealous of the idols getting his support, even considering becoming an idol herself since she's "proven" her dance skills on top of him that same night.

Shuna POV

★ Shuna's turn next. Getting off the train, she helps an old lady read a map and walks her to her destination. As thanks, the lady gives her 1000 yen, but the second Shuna remembers Hibise's name, she unconsciously crumples the bill in her fist, swearing to crumple Hibise the same way if she tries anything.

★ Shuna spots Hibise alone, getting hit on by a guy offering money, who gets mad at her rejection and almost drags her off. Satoshi shows up just in time, scaring the guy off by claiming to be Hibise's boyfriend, which briefly wrecks Shuna's mental state until she realizes it's just an act.

★ Hibise asks Satoshi's type, he says it's literally Satsuki, Reine, Shuna, and Shino, which makes Shuna's day. They talk about job hunting struggles, and he likes her plan to become a civil servant for stable income, agreeing gambling's a bad habit. Asked about his girlfriends' flaws, he says he's satisfied but wishes they'd hold back more in bed at night.

★ Home again, Shuna announces she's quitting gambling to chase a civil servant career, shocking the others given her gambling addiction. Still, despite no cheating proof, she gives Satoshi his "punishment" in bed that night.

Satsuki POV

★ Satsuki tails them next, watching Satoshi and Hibise run into a housewife, Hisui, who flirts with him, jokingly calling herself his mistress. He denies it, but Hisui keeps teasing, saying a woman looks more attractive waiting for a man to come to her, which gets Satsuki thinking she's been too controlling over his social life.

★ Distracted, she loses track of them when they leave with Hisui. Back home, she suddenly announces wanting to become a housewife, shocking the others. When Satoshi gets home, she greets him like a wife waiting for her husband, then still gives him his "lesson" in bed for smelling like another woman, now dreaming that marrying him means finally living her housewife fantasy.

Shino POV

★ After seeing the others change post tailing, it's Shino's turn. She watches Satoshi and Hibise head to a library, shocked to see him let Hibise read his own novel Rinne, a book he's banned all four girlfriends from reading out of embarrassment. That book was printed to save Shuna's family company.

★ He's impressed by Hibise's understanding of it, offering to introduce her to Reine if she likes reading, but she declines, explaining she doesn't actually enjoy reading, it's just an old habit from strict parents and having nothing else to do, and that she used to be a "literature girl" before changing her look for college.

★ Satoshi mentions his girlfriend Shino can do anything yet never looks down on people, but admits he's also impressed by Hibise's completely different lifestyle. Once home, Shino suddenly wants to walk away from her family to achieve something on her own effort, but cancels the idea since leaving would mean she couldn't marry Satoshi. Like the others, she drags him to bed too.

All Four Heroines

★ Piecing together everything from the tailing, the four heroines realize every place Satoshi and Hibise visited ties directly to LoD, the idol venue is where Satsuki did handshakes as a gravure idol, Rinne saved Shuna's company, Hisui's connected to Reine's family, and the guy who hit on Hibise is Shino's ex fiancé.

★ Realizing Hibise might be connected to LoD herself, they worry she might know who really wrote Rinne, and fear that Sano Yuuto's death, the LoD protagonist they'd chopped up and dumped in the mountains believing it'd never be found, might've been exposed, which means the police could be coming for them.

★ To dig for more clues, all four force themselves to replay the released LoD game, despite not wanting to relive falling for the wrong guy, Yuuto. Shuna, the best gamer, plays while the others watch, going through every route hoping to spot Hibise. But no matter how thoroughly they search, not a single character matches her, even accounting for a possible appearance change since high school. Hibise simply doesn't exist in the game.

Satoshi POV

★ Satoshi meets Hibise again, and this time she shows him a video Yuuto forcibly sent to her account, footage from a hidden camera in Satoshi's house recording him sleeping with all four heroines. Furious, he almost calls the police, but Hibise stops him, explaining she never spread it, she just wants to find Yuuto, who's been missing for a while.

★ Satoshi agrees to help find him, mainly wanting to beat him up. Hibise takes him back to their old high school for clues, empty since it's a holiday. There, he finally demands she come clean about who she really is, pulling out her diary that he'd secretly grabbed while she wasn't looking at the library.

★ The diary reveals the truth, Hibise is another victim of LoD's fated cycle, just like him. It details their first meeting, the game guidebook he once gave her, and everything they went through together. She'd always been by his side, watching him fight endlessly to save the heroines while Yuuto did nothing, only for every act of his to get erased from the heroines' memories by the world's fate.

★ When he couldn't fight fate anymore and planned to sacrifice himself, Hibise tried stopping him, but once he hit third year, his memories of her vanished too, exactly like the heroines forgetting him. Every meeting after that, he'd forget her by the next day. She never gave up though, kept showing him the guidebook, trying to stop his sacrifice, but none of it could beat fate, he still got hit by the truck saving the heroines while her body froze, forcing her to watch helplessly.

★ Relieved he survived, but crushed by guilt, she couldn't bring herself to face him again. He wants to tell her something, but she refuses to listen from a "liar," finally screaming out all her pent up emotions, that he'd once promised all lost memories would return once LoD ended, but his memory of her never came back.

★ She rages on, he gets to live happily with the heroines he loves, so why's she the only one forgotten? Only she remembers everything while he remembers nothing about her, despite being the one who's stayed longest by his side, sacrificing everything for him, and still, she's the only one erased.

★ All he can do is apologize, honestly telling her he only loves Satsuki, Reine, Shuna, and Shino. Hearing that breaks her, crying into his chest, saying even if it's a lie, she still wants to hear him say he loves her too.

★ On the train home, the air's awkward after his rejection, which turns out to not even be the first, it's the fifth time, and she's the only one who remembers every single one. Before parting, she hugs him tightly, right as Satsuki, Reine, Shuna, and Shino catch them mid hug and drag Hibise straight to their house.

★ Once inside, Hibise gets bombarded with questions, how could a mere "mob" like her know anything about LoD? But realizing the four heroines know about LoD too, she loses it, saying none of this is fair, that their feelings for Satoshi aren't real love, just leftover guilt from once loving the wrong guy, Yuuto. She's the only one who truly loves him, yet despite remembering everything and knowing the whole truth, she still fails to win his heart. In tears, she storms out.

★ Surprisingly, Satsuki lets Satoshi chase after her, even saying she's allowing him to "cheat" just this once. He finds Hibise at a park, and even without memories of her, he instinctively finds the exact spot, figuring it must've meant something to them both.

★ He tells her he could just stay away to protect things with the four heroines, but he can't, understanding the pain of being forgotten by fate means he refuses to do the same to her. He'll let her do whatever she wants and won't push her away, but his feelings won't change, he still loves the other four. She calls him cruel but refuses to give up, determined to win his heart. Before leaving, she kisses his forehead, and he turns red instantly.

★ Back home, the four heroines debate whether to accept Hibise as Satoshi's fifth woman, but two things bug them. First, even as main heroines they couldn't beat fate and forgot him anyway, so how does a mere "mob" like Hibise remember everything? Second, she clearly knows who wrote LoD but keeps it secret, and despite the "missing" author, the game still got released and sold like nothing happened.

★ Their conclusion, they won't let anyone ruin Satoshi's happiness or their own, and they're willing to do whatever it takes to protect it, even repeating what they did to Yuuto.

★ Elsewhere, a bit of Hibise and Yuuto's connection surfaces. He'd once asked her to help create LoD, a game built on heroines dying if they didn't choose the protagonist. She accepted, wanting to separate the four heroines from Satoshi, her email's even registered under the company that made the game.

★ From the start, Hibise decided she'd do anything to get Satoshi, never backing down even knowing her identity could get exposed. She almost gave up once, but after learning he still accepts her presence, she's determined again, she's getting him, whatever it takes.

For Vol. 3, I'll probably get to it in my next chapter (2 or 3) whenever I have some free time at the office.
That poor mf's crotch.

Was it ever explained why satoshi always dies in thr ending where a heroine dies or all heroine dies? Like that doesn't make sense cause he's just a mob and his example was burried in the same place satsuki was burried

I imagine that MC trying to help Sano made the original protagonist unable to grow up on his own, when in the original plot he would have done things himself and choose a girl or all of them through MC intervention the girls simply liked him without him doing anything and everything gone perfectly, the will of the world even made him stand at the top of the school, so possibly MC is the reason he strayed.

Hard to say because MC said that Sano did everything wrong and we don't see the process, only the ending.

But this means that from now on MC should be free, no? The game plot likely ended with the confession, now that the scene is done and they entered the game over scenario where the girls died, but they were saved, there shouldn't be other events.

From the summary we know the girls read MC diary, they probably helped getting his stuff after he got run over and found it, then read it, out of curiosity or possibly believing it had family contacs.

Probably because he is a mob, the discarded girls were involved in some wild incident in the city and someone around them was dragged in, as MC knew the will of the world made so that things would go as in the game he rightfully feared being unable to escape it.
His saving the girl from the car was real defiance of the plot, probably in the game the girl gets put under, the driver swerves and our mob MC gets killed too, by saving the girl it jumped the code logic of Heroine is dead = Mob dies right after, if they live he can't die.

Alright this looks interesting but are the Mob MC and novel MC really meant to look so alike? Novel MC just looks a bit more buff and mature looking, but otherwise they even have the same haircut, its kind of ridiculous and easy to mistake who is who

Not a big fan of the pacing to be honest. There are a lot of things that aren't explained for example did the protagonist have connection to these people before saving them or not? Or how long was he trying to save them. I'm sure if it wasn't so rushed and things were taken a bit more slowly this would have been a great manga.

This is definitely one of my favorite alongside Jinsei Gyakuten - Uwaki Sare & Shujinkou no Osananajimi ga. Kinda disappointed the manga art got downgraded from the LN, but trust me, you guys are gonna love this manga later on. It's packed with mysteries and plot twists all the way up to Volume 3. It's not just yandere twins, but 4 yanderes actually joining MC's harem. The plot twist in Vol 3 is gonna leave you guys in shock, though. If you're curious, you can check out the summary for LN Vol 1 & 2 here along with the illustrations.

I'll share Summary Light Novel Volume 1 here, WARNING : Please Don't Click if you Hate Spoiler.

Point: This LN's heroines are straight up unhinged, yandere level off the charts. The original protagonist, this trash of a guy, actually gets killed for real. He's made to go through the same pain the MC went through, right hand stabbed, then hit by a truck driven by one of the heroines. Not even just that, he also gets baited into setting up a hidden camera in the MC's room and forced to watch the heroines have SEX with the MC, who was supposed to be his own harem. Insane.

Character:
MC: Iriya Satoshi
Heroine1: Saionji Satsuki (Pink)
Heroine2: Kitagawa Reine (Silver)
Heroine3: Nanjou Shuna (Brown)
Heroine4: Shinonome Shino (Black)
Other: Original Protag: Sano Yuuto
Note: Game LOD (Love or Death)

★ Iriya Satoshi (MC) is just a background mob character. He only realizes he got reincarnated into a gal game called Love or Death once he enters high school. In his past life he was unemployed, kept failing college entrance, felt like a burden to his family, tried trading to make money, that failed too, and the mental toll eventually pushed him to overdose on sleeping pills.

★ At first he assumes it's just a similar world. Determined not to repeat his past failures, he studies obsessively and uses his old memories to get labeled a genius, doing FX trading by elementary school and racking up millions of yen. But his parents just find him weird, so much they suspect he's not even their real kid and do a DNA test. Feeling unrecognized, he moves out on his own once he starts high school and cuts ties with them.

★ Once he realizes he's in the Love or Death world, he understands he's a mob who dies in every bad end. His only shot at surviving is if the real protagonist, Sano Yuuto, gets the harem route. But Yuuto's just a garbage guy who contributes nothing to winning the heroines over. So Satoshi tries doing Yuuto's job for him, draining his savings and solving all the girls' problems, but Yuuto keeps getting the credit anyway. Every time Satoshi helps a heroine, she forgets him by the next day. Eventually he just accepts it as the game's forced fate.

★ On graduation day, the heroines, represented by Satsuki, ask Yuuto who he's choosing. Satoshi's hoping, one last time, Yuuto doesn't screw it up. Instead, Yuuto asks all four to just be sex friends since he can't pick one. Satsuki's crushed, realizing they were only ever tools for his urges.

★ With the Bad End looming, meaning they all die if they reject him, Satoshi schemes to deny the author his story by saving the heroines himself. As Satsuki's about to cross the street, he shoves her clear, then gets hit by the truck instead. Before blacking out, he makes sure everyone's safe, satisfied he's given this story an ending outside the author's control.

▼ After the coma

★ (Satsuki)
Satoshi wakes up after nearly a week, greeted by a crying Satsuki, wracked with guilt since he nearly died saving her. She insists on helping him with everything, even feeding him. When he refuses, her mood drops and she keeps apologizing for feeling useless. He reassures her he's just embarrassed and still needs her help. Cheered up, she asks what he thinks of Yuuto. Though he secretly hates the guy for stealing his work, Satoshi gives a generic compliment to avoid suspicion. She presses again, then cuts him off, saying she doesn't like Yuuto anymore, she used to love him but it wasn't her real choice, and now she'll only focus on Satoshi, forever.

★ (Reine)
Satoshi hates crowds. Once cleared to leave, he heads to the hospital garden with Reine pushing his wheelchair. He's stunned by how pretty she is but too shy to say it, until she mentions liking honest guys, so he admits it. Reine, raised in an abusive household, is a loner who struggles being honest, especially with men. She apologizes for how harsh she's been to the guy who saved her life and begs him not to leave her, promising to change. He tells her he doesn't mind her tsundere side since he gets the trauma behind it, her mom used to bring men home and hit her out of jealousy whenever they got attracted to Reine instead. When she asks how he knows all that, he blurts out he heard it from Yuuto. Her mood instantly sours, she doesn't want that "trash guy's" name mentioned, especially not by Satoshi. She used to love Yuuto too, but wasn't her choice either. She declares she'll stay by Satoshi's side forever.

★ Shuna
Shuna visits with a game to keep him from getting bored, apologizing it's only an old one since he's technically her life saver. He cheers her up, saying it's actually rare to get to play something like this. Since his right hand's out of commission, she takes the right side of the controller while he handles the left, and they play together, her first time doing anything with him. She shares that she got into college since her family's company suddenly got flooded with orders and dodged bankruptcy. He mentions maybe that's Yuuto's doing, she coldly calls him a liar, saying she's only dedicating herself to Satoshi from now till she dies.

★ Shino
Shino shows up while he's stewing over how much the girls hate Yuuto. She asks what's on his mind, he lies that he's thinking about trading. She suggests he invest in Hoshi Net's new project, he declines knowing it's too easy for bigger companies to copy and steal. Impressed by his sharpness, she hopes he'll join Shinonome Group someday. He only knows the future up to when he died in his past life, nothing beyond. Before leaving, she vows to eliminate any threat to him, just like he's eliminated threats to her.

★ Turns out all four had read Satoshi's diary. They're keeping two secrets, first, they know they were all supposed to die that day but survived because of his sacrifice, and that he's secretly been helping them the whole time even though the world's fate kept erasing their memory of it. Second, they've decided to kill Sano Yuuto, the guy who's been toying with their hearts and lives for this game's sake.

▼ Reading the diary

★ Satsuki reads it first, since she packed up his things after the accident. Confused about why she even kept it, she gets Reine, Shuna, and Shino to read it too so they can figure out the truth together.

★ Gathered at a family restaurant, the diary first looks like some obsessive stalker's notes. But weird details pile up, how did he know their nickname "Beauties of Four Directions" back in first year when it didn't even exist till second year. They're shocked he knew every single one of their personal, family, and financial problems.

★ They also read his frustration over Yuuto contributing nothing while getting credit for everything Satoshi actually did, buying up all of Satsuki's gravure photos to save her from being forced to sleep with a businessman for her idol career, replacing Reine's mom's stolen wallet with cash just in time to stop the abuse escalating, saving Shuna's family company from bankruptcy with a huge print order under Yuuto's name so she wouldn't have to sell herself, and protecting Shino from an arranged marriage, on top of countless other things.

★ Reine briefly refuses to accept it, but once calm, suggests confirming with Yuuto directly by phone. His answer shocks them, he genuinely has no clue about any of the things they thought he'd done for them.

★ While Satoshi's still comatose, they search his house and find matching evidence, 100 copies of Satsuki's photo book, Reine's mom's wallet, the print order receipt for Shuna's company, and more. They find closure in a torn diary page explaining he's a reincarnator with past life memories, that this is a game world where a Bad End means death, but that fate only lasts until graduation, so they're now truly free to date whoever they want. He admits he doesn't know what happens after that, but hopes they can all be happy.

★ After reading his final note, all four feel overwhelming gratitude, and slowly, feelings of love start forming for Satoshi. Where their old rivalry over Yuuto was toxic, Reine suggests they all belong to Satoshi now while staying friends with each other.

★ Shockingly, Shuna, usually the sweet Saint type, is the one who asks how they should go about "killing this trash."

▼ At campus

★ Satoshi's constantly surrounded by all four, drawing jealous stares from other students. Yuuto, at the same campus, is stunned seeing them with Satoshi since none of them ever reply to his messages.

★ Alone during break, Satoshi gets confronted by Yuuto, accusing him of exploiting their pity to keep them close. Satoshi wants to deny it, but deep down, not wanting to be alone anymore, he feels there's some truth to it.

★ While they're talking, the four girls show up and drag Satoshi away, ignoring Yuuto completely. He keeps following and getting ignored until they reach the elevator, where Satsuki finally grabs his collar, slams his head against the wall, calls him trash, and tells him to just die.

★ In the end, remembering Yuuto's accusation, Satoshi tries telling the girls he doesn't need their help anymore since he's healed. But Satsuki pulls out his diary, saying they already know everything, and thanks him for protecting them, calling it all proof of his love. They declare they're his now, then ask who he loves most. He says he loves them all equally, though even as his, they're still quietly competing for the top spot in his heart.

Note: there's an after story once Satoshi officially dates all four, basically fluff and brutal sex every night, etc.

★ As for Yuuto, Satsuki deliberately drops her bag with her phone for him to find. On it, he reads a message asking him to come to their old high school at midnight. When he arrives, she's in her old uniform, but with her body now grown, it just looks like cosplay.

★ She meets him alone first, then Reine shows up with the camera and bugging device he'd secretly planted earlier. Satsuki asks how it feels watching another man take the woman he loved, forced to watch it all happen powerless, what he'd actually been watching was the heroines having sex with Satoshi every night.

★ While he's distracted, Shuna appears and stabs his right hand, asking how it feels being unable to move it, payback to make him feel exactly what Satoshi went through. In agony, he tries running, but no matter how far, they always seem to close in.

★ Satsuki counts down and gives the signal. The moment he steps into the road, Shino runs him over with a truck. He dies instantly, and the four of them clean up the body afterward.

Plot Twist: Turns out the entire Love or Death story was written by Sano Yuuto himself, as revenge for the women meant to be his harem getting stolen by Satoshi. He even wrote a Bad End where if he didn't get his harem, everyone including Satoshi would die.
