Though honestly, even I think she is unusually expressive here, even compared to the previous arc.

I've been thinking that for a while now, but maybe that's what the wall of 30 is about? The players growing too comfortable playing these games for their own good. They get emotionally used to it, losing the tension and fear, and with that, their edge. It starts to feel like routine to them, so they get clumsy and mess up. Maybe Yuki has become more expressive because she is letting down her guard.

My theory is, the wall comes from the ennemys you made, which complexifies situations

This is why I slowly stopped reading manga. Cause of dumbass tropes like this one. Could’ve easily gotten rid of the pill earlier but obviously they gotta make her take it somehow.

I understand what you mean, since she is indeed smart and clever, but the fact remains that she's just a 17-year-old girl who, watch people die and kills on a weekly basis (i know this is her choice but still), and all of this has ultimately accumulated, preventing her from thinking clearly. I've seen this represented much better in the anime (even though it cuts a lot of content and adds others as it pleases sometimes good, sometimes bad), where Yuki is interviewed about her twenty-eighth game and, thinking back to Kinko's death, she tries to pretend nothing happened, but in her mind she almost starts crying. Also, I think the pill scene in the anime was done differently and perhaps a little better because I think it suggests she swallowed both pills at the same time. Ultimately, it was all down to muscle memory and the quick thinking of a foggy mind, caught between the pressure of the thirtieth game, the memories of people who remain on your conscience like in Candle Woods, and the fact that you just spoke to the father of the girl you killed less than two weeks ago. But yes, I also understand the plot convenience.
