Shigahime - Vol. 5 Ch. 31 - Salvation

I have two complaints. One is Chika. She had a complete personality-switch in less than TWO DAYS. I couldn’t take her seriously at all. She ruined the story with her out-of-place transformation. My second complaint is the length of the story. I’m not saying I want it to be longer, but it seems like the author intended to make it at least around a hundred chapters but got bored and cut it short. We didn’t meet many shigas, and there are two other originals we don’t know anything about. Chika’s evil transformation was probably going to be much slower which would’ve made it make sense. Oh well, I don’t really care. It was trash but fun.

great art, the mystery of the sisters and the tension between the 2 mc’s was great. Miwako is a brilliant villain and I loved her in this story. Chika’s whole storyline is pretty fucking useless and annoying. overall, this was solid till the last volume then it turned to shit, the ending is bad. Shame this got axed. 5.5/10
