I don't get it. How did Iku realize, that Ushimata was the one who killed her soon-to-be husbands? Was it because of the way they died?

It's more about the "aura", I think, or vibe, if you will. With how bloodthirsty and violent Gonza is and remembering how he's set them both up, she just connected the dots.
Granted, Ushimata still did so FOR that monster, Kogan, but yeah - Ushimata would've gladly r*ped an angel for the old man, no questions asked.
