Why is this being treated like some grand revelation he's found by soul-searching? It's the single character trait he's had this entire manga! We had that whole stupid erotica-based training arc to bring back his other human desires, and all we get is the exact same motivation he's had since chapter 1?

The fight was already turbo lame as it's filled with all these nobodies talking way too much about how strong they are while they slap each other just to get dumpstered by the MC, but that part's pretty standard for the manga. I was really hoping the training arc was an opportunity for the author to fix some character issues but it seems like that isn't happening. I'll probably keep an eye on this series just to see what happens but this has dropped my score on this manga to a 3 and I highly doubt it's ever gonna raise.
