Considering there's a 'supernatural' tag i imagine she's not human and maybe requires sacrifices if not using a corpse as a meat puppet but can still eat that raw meat or so

Tho that one lady said she's 'active at night' so who knows maybe she transforms and such (summary did say it was based on a novel idk if it's something someone else has read already if not some open ended thing where the mangaka can have more artistic license/interpretation to change but yeah can't imagine the way this story would go if there wasn't a 'supernatural' tag and it's just some family being unhinged)

Now about the ex-nurse...it's not for nothing that she is an "ex"; her overreactions to the "patient's" condition, her inability to follow orders from seniors, her making unnecessary comments in the patient's presence are alarmingly unprofessional! If i were her, so long as the money is deposited correctly every month, i would just keep my insecurities to myself and do my job (a job where socializing is kept to a minimum?! As long as i don't get killed or infected, that sounds pretty good to me!)~ ✨

Gotta be a vampire, inflicted by a curse (or maybe those flesh eating bacteria) or her power is dwindling she cant no longer fully heal herself. Though it could be the people just pretending shes alive for pension money or its like a pyramid scheme, when they no longer manage to "pay" in this case pretending to care for a corpse, they will all die/get killed. Series has great art by the way, good shit.

If unfortunately so, I wonder if the meat they feed the lady earlier and the hamburger meat was from ex-nurses. Like they found out about some secrets or smth so the family killed them and provide the meat to caregivers

Hm, is it right to have fakeout tags like that tho? (tho other than suggestions i usually only see them added when the original post/site has a tag for it but otherwise something like Mystery is fine versus a supernatural thing off the bat then again i guess there could be some cultists and 'supernatural' attempts at like summoning spirits and such whehter it works or not lol)

i read the webnovel and the manga is actually a vast improvement over it in terms of pacing and characterization so far. Highly recommend sticking with this version if youre spoiler averse
