i was kinda hoping after the anime adaptation, later chapters would focus on their relationship, like afterschool etc(they still feel awkward and just co-dependent type of relationship from my reader's POV imho). but i guess author san wanted it to be Komi cant communicate type where it will focus on the circle of friends and just school.
theres still progress in their relationship but its unsatisfying to be honest.

agreed, Komi went so far out than it was in the early 100 chapters.
by forced love triangle; i got annoyed by dosanko gal wa namara menkoi, its author is just purely twisted.

Circling the drain is definitely closer to what I feel. Not that I dislike the manga, after all I'm still reading it, but it's running outta steam(?) I think.

It is suffering from the same thing that afflicts all high school romance manga, the high school part is going to end.
And sure, the whole fear of graduation, choosing what you are going to do after that, etc etc etc, all of that stuff is hella relatable but also like hella boring. Unless, you go about it in a different way and do something unique, which this series doesn't seem to be doing.

For me it's more like it's much more slice of life than previously. Which generally means less drama, less comedy, and the romance is more subtle.

I honestly like all this slice of fluff.
But we could really get a benefity of a secondary romance... I mean, I love the fact that they are not using all those dramas to force conflict in the main couple and just doing a happy couple.

Also I'm obviously late to the party but I think even without knowing that there's only a few chapters left, it's not hard even if you didn't know yet.
I can see where you're coming from saying it's getting boring and stuff now but I'd much rather get an ending in that fashion than having the manga get axed or just like drop right after a "suspense" arc.
I think you can consider these a kind of bonus chapters.
