Common translation problem no. 2067: Not bothering to look up the proper word/term.Adultery is forbidden, but since neither of them is married that shouldn't be a problem.
It's "fornication" — a word with a memorable etymology, especially if you know about Ancient Rome (hint the temple of the Vestal Virgin was right next to a marble arch).
