Ship wise, Inu x Neko would've been kinda gag-y, but they barely interacted at all lately and if anything I would've expect Neko to end up with Hachimitsu or Kamiya...
And with Isana she said herself that he doesn't see her as love interest (not that such a thing would mean much).

Hmm, I kind of figured that the pairings-off in the final chapter were hints. So Izumi and Shikimori, Nekozaki and Kamiya, Hachimitsu and Saruogi, and Inuzuka and Isana-san. But probably that was just me crackshipping.

The chapter about Nekozaki and Kamiya was more about how Kamiya still has problems with not being able to make friends with other girls because they instantly become fangirls of her. It's not like the author has been subtle when it comes to same-sex affection before. But naturally, there's nothing stopping you from shipping them, given that both don't have any kind of romantic ending as far as I can see.

This manga really changes its tone and vibes dramatically when you change the central character.

I don't understand why people place so much importance on the amount of interaction and only then on the chemistry or relationship dynamics between characters. I've seen people literally complain about MHA's Izuku not ending with another male character just because he has more screen interactions with them than the nearby female characters. Ship whoever you want with whoever you want until lore denies it outright.
