@Southpaw Like I said that doesn't change anything it's a direct continuation and not a simple timeskip.
"And taken from Sawayalaw:
Gross negligence is the extreme indifference to or reckless disregard for the safety of others. Gross negligence is more than simple carelessness or failure to act. It is willful behavior done with extreme disregard for the health and safety of others. It is conduct likely to cause foreseeable harm.
"Extreme indifference" or "reckless disregard for the safty of others".."
And where does this contradict with anything that I said?
Read this: "Gross Negligence can only happen when someone doesn't fulfill their responsibilities with due commitment, which may result in problems. "
Not doing something with "due commitment" already implies indifference and recklessness.
"Sure, they were thugs. But this still by all means falls under the term of 'gross negligence'.
And it is things like these that make me say that she is acting "too carefree". Because this is how she is actually depicted.... In which therefore ""pointing out a scenario where she was paying attention"" doesn't change the overrall depection of her."
No it doesn't, the only thing here is you being extremely pedantic and neglecting to look at the whole picture.
Who was caught "hostage"?
Mathias the strongest human in the entire world, the one she fears the most. She swiftly deat with the situation, and didn't kill a single one of the bandits, in the most efficient manner.
Which was possible because she had absolute certainty that this action wouldn't result in any negatives.
As proof all bandits were captured alive with no serious wounds, and it was only possible because she was fully aware that no metter what strength she used it would NOT affect Mathias. Just look at Mathias face afterwards. At first he thought she would exaggerate but then he merely looked surprised at her methods. Where she trully reckless do you really think the Bandits would go unscathed like they were? Have you forgotten when she miscalculated her strength before?
"Yes, because I am sure the century old dragon has never seen butterflies before. But have been sure to have had a lot of conversations...."
Are you seriously saying this, have you forgotten how big she trully is? Do you really think she would have noticed fine details like this? You're understimating the importance of a change in perspective, do you really think she would ahve noticed the collors and patterns of a buterfly's wing when whe was pretty much a flying fortress?
