reason is just that artist can't draw fast enough to complete chapter in a month
since they publish so many of those WN isekai into manga, most of artists at works are artist with few work published (or some may not have any work before) and they may not make profit enough to hire assistance, also with their low income they may have to do part-time job that also result to have fewer time to draw manga

and that’s exactly why you don’t split the chapter but release chapter in a much longer pace.
If you split the chapter and release
_ you risk cutting the chapter at crucial part that build up the momentum, so to avoid it mangaka + author has to revive how the panels will lay out => more work for mangaka and author
_ increase the pacing of each chapter will allow more time to reconsider how the chapter will be made. Release a chapter every month or every 2 months mean your chapter is 2 months in consideration. It is more better than releasing it half a chapter every month because mangaka and editors are forced to proofread that half chapter while in case they release the whole chapter it saves much more time and effort because it’s a continuous read. And if the you release the 1st half of the chapter which means if anything wrong, you can’t change it because it has already been published => definitely a much better option then splitting

they didn't think up part by part but have full chapter storyboard prepared that artist and editor agreed beforehand
then as schedule is monthly by contract, artists have to draw and send work as much as they could to update manga on time, so they just split chapter like that from full chapter's storyboard and become c1.1 c1.2 c1.3 ... something like that
this monthly schedule is need, to keep work schedule in pace (if you just make it as artist send work when they done that will become bad habit for work)
, to make reader stay in touch with manga because a flow could die out if it disappear too long even if they're popular manga
(ex: HxH, World Trigger, they stopped by artist's need and that really effect them as you can see now)
