i don't think same-sex marriage is legal in Japan yet (correct me if i'm wrong), and it's kind of really weird to think about it was recent that it became legal in USA. i've always been curious why people are so against it even though it doesn't affect them. and the whole "reproduction" argument is silly considering our world is overpopulated as is
