I feel from the first appearance of Ms Mogawa that she reflects the Greek Mythology Sisyphus. It's the guy that keeps pushing a rock boulder up the hill just to see the boulder fall, then he repeats the action meaninglessly. I guess you could interpret the Myth of Sisyphus to Ms Mogawa, which told us to imagine Sisyphus happy, while still doing his actions absurdly.

You mean Camus' essay on the myth? That could make sense.
