If you are referring to Ryuzaki. He's super asshole as the story progress. To the point makes all the girls (4 sub heroine + 1 main heroine) got hurt by all of his action, especially Shiho, which got traumatized by him

Eh... For me it's hard to divest my novel knowledge base and read the manga with "fresh" eyes at times... "creepy asshole" isn't really the vibe from the origin material (sort of, it's a little early, but in general more arrogant and overconfident, which READS as creepy at times, but he's not lurking in alleys choking himself with her shoelaces), but certainly more so here... I'm curious to see if that relatively minor (currently) divergence grows, or it swings back. There's a LOT still to come... It gets a little convoluted.
