I was thinking her sister might take Lloyd's jab at her earlier in the chapter (about not stepping in to protect her sister if she thought the contract with Athena was a bad idea) to heart, and try to give Tina some recognition. Or maybe what you suggested happens first, and only then does Selena realize.

But on the other hand there's already that other chubby kid who got a power boost from Malphas to deal with so maybe Tina doesn't fall to the dark side yet.


Also, when going back a few chapters to remind myself what Tina's sister's name even is, I noticed that the TL hasn't been consistent on it. It's Selena in chapter 33 but Serena in chapter 32. Classic Japanese L/R trouble.

Love the changing perspective among the students. First years are idiots, second years are a bit impressed, and those above them actually see (at least a fraction) of what he has going on And are just watching so intently

all while mc hides his true strength and tries to put on the perfect show for them. I kinda wanted to see the crowd freak out when he went all out but I’m liking his calm and calculating reveal instead. Though I suspect hell need to drop the act when that idiot shows up to fight him

That older sister, her logic and dialogues are all over the place, she sends her little sister to be helped by yuno and a “stray goddess”, but starts probing the chuuni master by saying Yuno’s opponent is strong enough to win, then says “ah hyuck, I think the same as you that yuno is strong” when chuuni master shows his conviction about yuno going to win by a landslide… or too devious or too incoherent, support your sister fully or not.
