This series is pretty decent at the "hero is op but hides it" trope. It usually falls flat really hard and comes off as lame but he seems to apply it for benefit instead. Not groundbreaking but nicely done, shame we have to wait another month for the next chapter.

Also I don't believe not 1 reject ever tried to make a bond with random God's, do any God you contract in the ceremony have to help you? I would of thought if you're lame you just have to take a Gacha system on any one that would help you.

Honestly, i wouldn’t contract with a stray/unknown god either especially if they’re like greek/roman/egyption gods and have a specific thing they rule over. I like gambling as much as the next guy but there’s too much risk when it comes to immortal or divine entities.

I see evweding! The mc is probably gonna have the “rare” ability to sign more contracts with other gods, but he’ll probably only do that with stray gods. Also the power of the gods that people gain after signing a contract is probably just a small fraction of the god’s power. As the god gain more fame, their power increases and can give out more of their power to their contractors. Zeus probably gave all of his power to mc. After all, Zeus was never known yet the mc still gained op power. Since Zeus did that, Zeus is probably “dead” forever or sealed and can’t “appear” in that world anymore which could be why he was sad. Or maybe Zeus gave all of his power because Zeus knew the mc somehow (like was the mc previous/past life contract) and was sad that he won’t be with him any longer.

I'm really liking this as MC is doing what I would do in the same situation.
I assume your blessing changes in power by when you get it, so if your the first follower of a god you get a bigger blessing then the 2nd and 3rd and ongoing.
Sure you could try and get a powerful god to accept you, OR you could become the number 1 follower of an unknown god and develop their fame whilst still receiving the largest blessing they can give.
