Someone only filled with hate like Ares can never understand what life is like for people who know what love is. Ruti loves her brother, of course she'll want to see him again. Interesting backstory, but he hated his family since childhood, it's impossible for me to sympathize with him.

Guy that can see blessings was somehow unconcerned that a former companion (who was actually a demon in disguise) didn't have a blessing?

Guy follows some weird logic about blessings relating to civilizations and demons were in the same boat ignores the fact that demons don't have blessings? A fact that he noted out loud not 1 minute prior?

Demons get blessings too. It's specifically asura Demons that don't get any.

Honestly I don’t get the Asura demons angle here. He knows that the hero will stop being the hero and that this is a great opportunity to conquer the human world but he’s messing around here instead. Honestly he should just kill the sage and then achieve world domination with the demon king. All that he’s doing now is going to waste this opportunity he was given to achieve his goals

I don't think he wants world domination. In this chapter he even said that because he doesn't have any blessing, the Demon King's desire to follow his blessing and conquer the world is a foolish thing.

First off: The demon kings ideology is, that there must be permanent conflict, so both sides can develop forever. He doesn't want to conquer the world specifically, he just wants to enable endless development.

Second off: The demon thinks it's foolish, because stuff unrelated to warfare develops as well. If the only way for development is overcoming struggles, there would be no development in anything besides warfare. Since stuff like agriculture is developing as well and even the state of royalty is in constant flux it would suggest to him, that conflict isn't the only driving force for development.

Maybe the current demon king is like musclebro?
