edit: i guess there is the anime too, but s2 skipped LN vol.6 and 7 and finished off with vol.10 ending, so it did vol.5, 8, 9 and end of 10, so yeah

so the anime goes waaaay beyond the manga?

Having not seen the anime nor read the light novel, I don't know where the story goes after this, but I like where and how it ended. Truly an ordinary person perspective: there are lots of evils in the world and a lot outside of our control, let's make the most of what we have. I do wish there was more SOL than what felt like endless battles for the last many chapters, but happy with how it ended.

Man, this is also kinda how I want the anime to end. Just them living happily together after all the trouble they had. Not a cliché ending with marriage and stuff, but a warm one like this is fine by me

Thinking about it, this is truly the best point to end if artist want to move their focus onto other work. As this is the end of major arc. If they still continue, who know which point they could end it as good as this one, considering the spoiler implying this is the best point to end.

Comparing to other Manga that ended the story while LN/WN still continue long after, I feel like this is probably the best case. No Cliffhangers, No "Please if you want to see story really end, read Novel", or such.

If anything, if one day author, and artist want to continue manga in the future, then they could do it as "Sequel". But continuing now would only do harm.

I saw this was the last chapter so I figured I should catch up. Though I barely remembered most of the characters I don't really feel like re-reading this one. It was a solid "okay" but it's a satisfying ending so that makes up for it.
