The world in this story is really fucked up. You didn't have any freedom to choose who you want to become. How you live your life immediately decided the moment your skill is revealed. And not many people can resist the temptation of their skill. And the higher the rank of the skill, the more difficult it is to resist the temptation and restriction. For example :

1. Lit's skill, it gave her an urge to kill her enemies. It shown in the previous chapter, but she manage to calm it down by dropping her blade.

2. Red's little sister, The Hero, is the highest rank skill we may ever know here. It gave her a tremendous strength, but in exchange she lost all of her humanity aspect. In previous chapter, it show how she really wants to kill Ares, but because he's in her party and her skill think of him as a "hero companion", her skill forbid it. Also, because of the Hero skill she had an urge to set up a journey to kill the Demon Lord.

3. There will also a young kid with Brawler skill later. Because of that skill, he's prone to pick a fight with the fellow kids. Before his skill was revealed, he used to be a kind and friendly kid among his friend.

Thinking about it, with the way this world works, bloodshed would be rather difficult to get rid of. The world cannot move much from the status quo since roles are assigned rather than picked. If society went towards peace, what would the combat-oriented people do? They would be out of jobs and their role is set in stone so if they decided to pick up a job not suited to them, they would be at a disadvantage compared to the people suited to said job. After the Sendoku period, Samurai were allowed to become bureaucrats, allowing for society to drift towards being more peaceful but the same cannot happen here. The system does not allow the world to adapt so change cannot happen.
