@COVERTmangamaniac The heir's older brother, the beta, hired the Aide. The older brother was just making sure that he, his employee, actually did what he was hired for. To mate with his younger brother, the alpha. I think the older brother didn't want to see his younger brother suffering. Once mated they become obsessed with their mate. Since their mother was a beta, he couldn't mate and form a bond with their mother and instead their father mated with the prostitute omegas.

I am not sure if I am happy about how the older brother took the initiative to force on his younger brother a permanent lover.

I thought this took a massive (bad) twist with the MC being a scheming villain... I'm not exactly happy with it but the cliffhanger makes it more palatable. I wonder if the older brother sensed his brother's feelings and realised he'd never act on it unless forced...
