With the setup of the previous chapter we've got a strong motivation for MC to go after her right away, even though it'd be too early. I was afraid we don't get a good explanation, why she isn't targeting her first things first, and author would send her down a rabbithole of bs-events interfering and distracting. She got a good and simple reason though, why she isn't targeting her right away, and I like, that it's so sound.
