And with that, Eroko-san is on hiatus....and I can't even be upset about it.
Just the sheer amount of romantic development between Hoshi and Eruko, the heat of it all--absolutely nukes nearly all romcom anime/manga ever written. Then there's the fact that even though Hoshi knows he's a minor, and calls himself a "kid", he's infinitely more of a man than the vast majority of all romcom male MCs ever written. Then there's Eruko, a veritable dream girl--and the author didn't see a need to "balance" her beauty out with any flaws, or somehow temper her attractiveness to the male MC with an obviously inferior romantic competitor that'd somehow get the MMC to forget the FMC.
It's all good. Just so good. No BS.
I read just a bit of Henjo, but the main girl isn't anywhere near as attractive or lovable as Eruko, though she is amusing. I still wonder if it's worth another shot.
