Eren needs to
win
.
I cant take another
"and they all lived happily ever after"
One more of those
"he changed his mind"
or
"hes gonna work to improve the world"
just let him goddamn flatten everything and make them forget about it. im tired of this bs "power of friendship" in every story, id like for one big manga to make some buzz and end on a actual realistic note.

@iamlazy my thoughts exactly.
IEither let even win or let him die or something. Although I’ll cry when he dies, I’d still take that over one of those cliche endings.

Yes thats probably what will happen
Hes probably gonna get killed off &or they will "rebuild the world" after somehow Ymir one way or another becomes the main antagonist and eren repents. Or they use some magical Jedy mind tricks and somehow talk their way out of things. (pls noooo)

If it wasnt a pun/makin a joke @ what you wrote :

You find them not ending with a "and they lived happily ever after" story after probably in the milion numbers of such ending already beeing explored ?
I dont care how they do it, just somehow i dont want to read another "and he became good in the end" or "they talked him out of his master plan" or "he did a - il become a good guy from sacrifing myself - type plot" or the most probable one " he just wanted to be saved from his drama trauma life"
Its getting real boring to see that happening, there is a reason stuff like darksouls is so popular lorewise. Same with Berserk.
Nobody wins in that type of a universe , everything is going to shit, but you still feel a love for that setting and world / universe. Cant say the same thing about stories like this.
They ALWAYS become a chore to read, you get invested, it builds up and then it turns to crap with the plot. You can tell how this story had a tonal shift after paradis and its exploration narrative.

I just think it'd be boring to have a cynical ending where there's nothing better than destroying everything. Berserk and Dark Souls do more than just brood in a self destructive manner that goes nowhere. It ain't gonna be a happily ever after, but it isn't going to be doom and gloom either. It's about using the experiences of suffering to analyze the history that led to it. Then using such analysis to produce a road that doesn't rely on suffering, and leads to collective development. The future generations will be freed from inheriting the grievances of their ancestors. Though Winter will come again, so to will the Spring.

Though yes, I do like your username.

Just a guess
after killing eren and saving the world, armin and friends became heroes then assassinated or humanity will attack the eldians some survive then wage war and the cycle of hatred didn't end.....

Yes cynical endings are not good, i agree, but neither are goodie2shoe endings where you get a stupid plot armor lucky strike, achilles heel to bring down the antagonist or whatever else mcguffin/mary sue that just happens to find the way to clear the final battle & executes everything perfectly to deliver a expected outcome.
The market is oversaturated with these types of endings from all corners, hollywood, manga, comics, tvseries, everything is giving people some false illusion that "in the end goodguys win" wich is undoubtedly not true, from historical perspectives, wars, and whatever else source that is clear, history is written by the winners and thats about it, you can have the firebombing of dresden painted as a utopian achievement of murdering milions of civilians, nuking japan as a glorious achievement "against evil" and so on. In reality people are flawed, thats why Eren was appealing as a protagonist/antagonist with childish motivations that grows up and sees the reality of the world and what he must do to achieve peace for his own people/race(?).

Dark souls/ Berserk do not do those things you mention tho, they do not "learn from their past" and stop suffering, souls has perpetual death and sacrifice to try and keep the world going and it ends in nothingness without going to much into it.
There is no future in "souls universe", thats clear by the end of the third game´s dlc. We have to wait and see how miura does berserks ending,it does not feel like he will go for a good ending but who knows, hes getting old and his feels are catching up.
While berserk has not ended, its still a revenge story that goes way of the rails, nomather the characters personal motivations its still filled with hatred and sorrow, from all angles & everything is twisted and contorted in both narratives.
You still have the reoccuring godhand beeing choosen anew, the "hand of evil" is still continous, even with SK trying to fight it for thousands of years.
Everyone is twisted not my some outer sources but by their own character, and they represent themselfs as those twisted interpretations of their self image based on their sinfull desire.

Best thing to do is to get rid of the power of titan shifters completely but then the Walldians and Marley-Eldians will be most likely put into slavery or eradicated since they'll have no modern means of protecting themselves.
