I like the rank breakdown. Makes for much better clarity in what terms they use, since ranks aren't the same in all countries and time periods.

Oh, I was a bit confused on why did grandpa's rank goes down, but turns out I mistook Snape's rank for his.

Also, a bit of an unrelated tangent, but despite this and many mangas showing this glory-seeking behavior as something bad, back when I was still in school, a lot of students (me included) seem to lack initiative to do things outside of going home and playing. It doesn't sound bad, but when some people aren't brave enough to ask permission to go to the bathroom, it's definitely not good.

i too am glad they put the chart i only remember the order of a few lol . ashton is shitting himself at that special promotion hahaha. considering later and what we know from the outside looking in(we know its exactly what they're trying to do) it was warranted along with well earned. given the little information they have to work with coming to the right conclusion is impressive, and storywise its believable of his input being disregarded since he was speaking of his own group.
