I don't really see where the story can go. This feels pretty final. This feels more final than most one shots I've read.

Feels properly fleshed out from what I'd expect of an anthology version, but agree that it's not certain where the story can go from here. Maybe exploring the provenance of the curse and the first wife?

Edit: Reread the original (at https://mangadex.org/title/7895cbd9...shiawase-ni-natte-misemasu-wa-anthology-comic vol 14 ch 2) and it seems like this was one of those that I actually liked although I don't remember reading it at all. Not much has changed from then to now, so the author had better have a dynamite arc planned. Or planning on dropping lots of adorable family bonding moments

From the next 3 chapters it more like the spirit of the week

Chapter 2 starts with his point of view of chapter 1 (10 pages), then with her friend's soul splinting away from her.

Chapter 3 deals a solider being haunted by his former commander,

Chapter 4 helping a countess move on

There hinting at a strong spirit in a closed of room my be dealt with in 5th chapter

I'm liking this premise, but objectively speaking I want this to last no more than 15 chapters.
It's fine if it's going to be "thing of the week" like the previous comment says, as long as it's not dragged on pointlessly.
A watered down soup makes even the most appetizing meal awful.

Unless there's any larger plot than that going on yeah I could see this losing steam quick. As a one-shot-esque story it's nice though

Im glad to see this at least slightly fleshed out. The concept doesn't have a huuuge amount to grow right now, but its got a good core cast of characters and that could carry it.
