drowning is incredibly painful 1 of the most agonizing ways to die think of a permanent constant agony and her being stuck in that state indefinity for example being set on fire and staying that way without dying for hours or in this case days

is he to blame for her father raping her? ehh no that's the father's actions no matter what.
Even if the mom had died some other way the dad would had probably still raped her.

Yeah… this time she barely escaped an loooong time of endlessly drowning without completely dying. She can’t die, but she can still be rendered unconscious, or unable to act, while still suffering.
She is not invincible, she’s immortal. A VERY important distinction.
