I think they will do some double twist First the "granny" will not do what the senator wants, then they will acause her of killing and torturing people with the offscreen saved Dororena as witness.

There's a glaring plothole here. The fact that nobody notice Doronea has been missing for several days.

Yeah they KNOW she went there, so its very unlikely they have been doing nothing for the last few days.
Its most likely going to be a rewind that explains what she was up too the next time we see her.

Regardless if that is in the trial or not.
They pretty much have set up the prosecutor to be counter accused for attempted murder of royalty.
It would not look pretty for her case if that were to come out in any way.

Decided to re-read about half of this, to refresh myself... and, Whoa! I forgot how tense this part is!
I already know the outcome, but this has me feelin it!

Honestly, that's pretty good writing.
