Dude's quite a windbag whenever he's not in the curse mode or commanding others around with pretend bravado. He just loses it all, rationality and everything. Preaching to an obvious man of science about magic, uhhuh. Why on Earth didn't he say he's holding explosives? At least he finally learned there are other summoned people, assuming he understood what he was hearing, which is far from guaranteed.

Oh boy, do I hope that there's some serious character development that happens in the following chapters because as it is now the protagonist occassionally swallows the idiot ball and damn does that make me cringe everytime he does that.

Even if the plot is contrived and cliched, the art in this manga is actually quite good.

Not saying that just cause tiddy. Lots of details on each panel and some interesting compositions, plus varying costumes and highly-textured backgrounds.
