@Warmuffin : to be fair, the (ruling) humans of this world contain allot of piles of garbage. the King who summoned them being a prime example....
It is not 100% fortunately, but there are too many for comfort.

For a second there I expected the Dragon God to be talking about the mimic when he spoke of his promise. Like they'd have built up a human-hating bromance.

Poor dragon? No, killing him was in self defence. If he had approached them peacefully the dragon could have made allies instead of been killed.

@Guspaz To be fair they showed up in his dungeon with no good reason to be there. The MC was not wrong in fighting but neither was the Dragon. The ones who screwed them both were the ones who set this up, but then again they do seem to be at war. So the "tragedy of war" i guess is at fault.

They also could have run. We don't even know how the Dragon-Girl fight actually started. If anything this should be used as a moment for MC to question his actions going forward. MC only started this fight because he was "defending" his comrade. He however jumped to the conclusion that he had to kill the dragon when it may have been possible to talk it out.

@Merilirem, @Guspaz: Na, Merilirem. I see your point, but he clearly over powered that warrior chick and wanted to slaughter her. Sure, they have been in his dungeon, but they could give him good reason. Somehow they ended up their by a teleportation trap (some other demons (his allies?) set them up) and they just want to leave that place. As this is a labyrinth, he could just send them off, without the security of his home base being compromised too badly. Wasn't this dungeon also known be the humans as his home? Instead he lived out his grudge against humans. He had a tragic past, that's for sure, but he became a racist. And what an arsehole of a racist. He wanted to kill them, because he didn't like their species. Too be fair, this is cold blooded.

I'm not sure, if they could have run, but the dragon could also let them go instead. And even though we don't know if the girl started it, she was beaten up so badly, he could have stopped at some point. Instead he was all "I won't forgive you!" And while I'm not a big fan of skipping the "Talk it out"-option, there is not sense in trying to talk it out with someone, who is trying his best at and being close to successfully killing you. (The girl was also trying to murder the dragon, but was not even close. He could have tried talking it out.)

Yeah, poor dragon, but in this situation, as you said "The MC was not wrong in fighting" and he got what he asked for.

I've missed this series, and lucky me that it gets an update right when I was thinking about it again. Not that luck is real. 1 more and it'll be another time that 3 series that have been dormant for a few months will have popped up after I started wondering about them.
@FlyingPantsu I suspected as much, since the letter said they didn't truly clear the dungeon this time, but I'm glad to have confirmation on that.
