The nation is called the Kaiser Empire and the ruler is the Kaiser emperor. So its the Emperor Empire and and the ruler is called Emperor Emperor. The empire's name is not too egregious but why would you use title a with another title that mean the same thing. I don't think the author knows what Kaiser means.
A harem anime that doesn't pointless drama and where the relationship issues can actually be resolved because the characters all have both in-character reasons to be fine with polygamy and because polygamy is accepted in this world? Damn, sign me up!
there's six women, but he only marries four of them, I think. They've all been shown as early as chapter 5 with this image
He is not a crazy sex fiend that will just fall in love with anyone and he has justified reasons for each character he DOES fall in love with. Of the six "harem mates," he is pressured to marry four of them and adopts one of them. (
One of them is technically a Donkey that turns into a girl so isn't taken seriously romantically by any of the parties involved)
The people he gets engaged with are that HAVE been introduced:
Risia-The gorilla girl and first haremette. She is the one who actually pressures him to get into relationships with the other girls to "increase his rank."
Altaria-The girl he gets engaged with in this chapter
Karen-the President and most popular girl in school. She's actually reveal to be
a massive yandere that's jealous of all the other haremates and wants MC all to herself because she thinks she's entitled to him as a childhood friend. He actually had to brush her off at school because he knew that his reputation would only hurt her so she grew overly attached to him.
The person he gets engaged with that HASN'T been introduced.
Seito Airi-Another childhood friend, but I don't have much info on her
The Character that gets adopted:
Origa Carmelia-adopted little sister who's also a VERY over-attached Cat-girl
The joke harem-mate
Runerune-She is a donkey that has the power to turn into a girl and is MC's manservant/pack mule. They don't enter a relationship for obvious reasons.
It's pretty tame all things considered and four is a pretty healthy number. I like that he doesn't marry ALL of the people in his harem and only does the ones he definitely "loves" so to speak. Historically speaking, for a Hero/Adventurer of this importance, having four lovers is pretty conservative all things considered
@Halfshadows Well, Sahara is derived from the word for, desert, ṣaḥra, and there's a place called the Sahara Desert, which is kind of the same thing. I think people just think Kaiser sounds cool, or maybe the author is using it as a kind of joke, a few series do similar types of things.
@Fari
Well, she IS a gorilla. And the leading male gorillas do have lots of wives.
Al is just happy that she CAN have someone. He saved her from a dragon. And he cured her long life of bad luck, so it becomes a 'prince on a white horse' situation.
@Riger I mean it's not like there needs to be justification for poly regardless, it's totally reasonable that some characters could be fine with it regardless, yeah.
