i do wonder why in this universe there is no distinction between an Alchemist and Artificer. Those are very different skillsets. As it is Seresa essentially works as Project Manager, Alchemist, Engraver, Scribe, and Dyer.

Yeah it's a good stopping point for the story if it was axed. Fortunately it's still on going. The raws are currently up to chapter 41. I wish someone would translate the LN. It continues on further than what the author has posted for the WN. Or at least if fine the raws of the LN.

Because not all authors do proper research and just shit out half-assed plots, character archetypes, and vocations. It's has really muddled the waters and reduced the quality of not just novels, but the general comprehension of the audience as well.

Artifice, not to be confused with artifacts, is the antiquated term used for the craft of creating mundane mechanical devices, objects, and chemicals. While alchemy should be it’s mystical based cousin dealing magical devices, potions, supernatural objects and materials.

Yes there is a lot of overlap, and not to hard to see how the terms were confused. In general it doesn't even matter anymore. It's all devolved into gibberish, and can almost be used interchangeably.

Job classes such as artificer and monk rarely show up in manga for whatever reason. I would love to see a manga about an artficer.

Thanks. I went and took a look and it looks like they aren't past the WN yet. I know the new stuff is in Vol 6+. J-Novel just finished Vol 3 and will soon be starting Vol 4. Also wish they sold hard copies instead of digital only.
