I don't see, why this should be axed, just because that other dude fell for her. Sure, this is a source for slight discomfort, but it is totally obvious, that the little sis and that bro are meant for each other. Maybe some sickfucks got mad, because their little sister waifu gets stolen from that new character? I believe, that this new (old, but with ninjas!) development, might be entertaining.

Honestly I think I would've preferred it if the manga was all about these two being lovesick idiots with each other. Kinda like Kaguya-sama but with ninjas.
I know this guy doesn't really have a chance but Wataru was always just kinda bland for me.
Also, UGH her sister.

I agree completely. It would be AMAZING if she switched to kai, but according to the LAWS OF MANGA once a target is selected it cannot be changed, barring death or equally catastrophic events.

What's more likely is that he'll wind up with sayoyo since they're going to spend so much time together on shenanigans

Yeah, it sucks that it got axed. I really enjoyed the ninja gags a lot but I always felt like this manga was missing something.
It's probably gonna end nicely though.
