And yet the mother's desire is made redundant by the inevitable existence of some mage who can just teleport across the universe (as well as other realms, planes, dimensions and so on), as I'm sure many can. It's likely an ability say, Fuyu for instance, has. I guess she just got enamored with the journey aspect of it (or she just wants to go really fast), rather than actually caring about whether she arrives somewhere or not. I actually hate this chapter, if only because it delivers its message really well.
