The deepest thing Zuri has ever written is sad-ish backstories that get brought up randomly and then get quickly forgotten or become irrelevant to a majority of the series. The man's writing is surface level at best and from what I know of reading him, that's an intentional choice. He really just likes to draw boobs and that's it. The "character" of his women are just background dressing for the ultimate goal of boobs so there's never too much going on with it. Even when the main driving force is supposed to be emotional problems, it's so lightly written because the main focus of his content is boobs.
