I, for one, really want to read more incest stories with plot progression that makes sense, where you can really understand why they wanna be together.

So far, I've mostly found that in visual novels, where you can some times find sister routes.

If someone has any recommendations, I would love to hear them.

Edit: Thought it would be fair to give my own recommendations for incest stories first.

I remember really liking Saku Saku: Love Blooms with the Cherry Blossoms and WAGAMAMA HIGH SPEC.

There are other VNs with incest that are good, but these two are the ones I played purely for the sister route (so I've got no clue how the other ones go).

Saku Saku is especially dear to me with how it handled the implications of incest. Been a while since I read them, and I kinda wanna do that again now that I remembered them.

I got Saku Saku after seeing your post and the sister route was a banger, I did the other ones first to get acquainted with the characters and the writing compared to the other 3 is night and day, been awhile since I felt satisfied about anything as much as I did here. Now VN authors need to stop being cowards and stop giving sibling characters wildly different hair color, or at the very least show the parents together so we know who takes after who.

As for WAGAMAMA,

Yeah, their interactions were nice and didn't feel like a drag to go through I honestly enjoyed it for what it is imoutos are fucking great, I guess it's just the fact that I played it after Saku Saku that made me expect a little more from it but it's still a nice and chill read

Yeah MC collapses from work and the sister takes care of him basically not letting him draw manga until he fully recovered while also learning to do house chores for his sake, sweet doesn't even beging to describe it
